Museum of Illusions Washington D.C. opens its doors this fall in CityCenterDC, offering an original, educational and Instagram-able experience. The installations are currently in the final stages of construction to debut as part of the grand opening.
Guests have the opportunity to interact with these hands-on experiences. The Museum of Illusions brand has quickly become a leading attraction in 37 cities. Visitors are invited to enter the wonderful world of illusions and experience seemingly impossible exhibits.
The first exhibits include an infinity room, where guests can experience the power of mirrors. The MOIDC’s exhibits are a cross between education and entertainment; as guests travel through the illusions, the exhibitions explain and educate visitors on vision, perception, the human brain and how it can be tricked.
The team built a free pop-up location at CityCenterDC Park to give locals a chance to get a sneak peek before the full museum opens.
“Visitors to the free installation can let their creativity run wild as they come out of the pop-up with a new photo showcasing superhuman powers as they seemingly climb up walls and navigate ceilings,” said Ghida Damirji, owner, Museum of Illusions Washington, D.C.
This pop-up is available to guests for free every day, 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Registration isn’t required for your visit. If you can’t make it to the pop-up, visit the website and sign up for the newsletter to stay up to date on the official opening and the museum’s special offers.
