Beer and wine trails, mural trails, history trails — and now a mini golf trail? Myrtle Beach has added this unique type of trail to the lineup of interesting self-guided tours you can take while in a destination. The family-friendly beach community claims more than 30 miniature golf courses — it is the Mini Golf Capital of the World, after all — and the trail takes you to each.
“We are delighted to unveil the Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Trail, a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience that invites both visitors and locals to discover our destination like never before,” said Karen Riordan, president and CEO, Visit Myrtle Beach. “This trail not only highlights the unique charm and imaginative design of our miniature golf courses but also reinforces our status as the ‘Mini Golf Capital of the World’.”
Visit Myrtle Beach offers a digital pass for travelers interested in completing the trail. Travelers check in at each course using their mobile devices and the digital pass. With each check-in, earn points and then redeem prizes including stickers, apparel and accessories.
For those who prefer their golf experiences a little larger, no worries. Myrtle Beach is also known as Golf Capital of the World, with more than 80 championship courses.
