If you’re the kind of person that likes to get out in the mountains, away from civilization for days or weeks at a time, you probably want to check this out.
NEMO Equipment developed a durable, portable shower that sits on the ground. Unlike most portable showers that have to be awkwardly strung overhead from a tree branch, the Helio Pressure Shower produces enough pressure to funnel water through the hose at any angle you want to spray it.
The Helio is able to contain 2.9 gallons of water (11 liters) and provides between five to seven minutes of steady streaming. You can even alternate the water pressure through a handy dandy foot pump.
The accompanying hose has a reach of seven feet, so even the giants among us can put this thing to good use. The best part, though, is it’s easy to take along on just about any trip. The Helio weighs less than two pounds and can be folded down to fit into a 5.5-inch by 8.5-inch carrying case.
It’s pretty versatile, too. If you’re fine with trucking around with mud all over you or bathing in the nearest creek bed, that doesn’t mean you can’t find a use for this thing. The pressure shower is great for washing dishes or your dog.
