If you’ve ever enjoyed an episode of the BBC’s cult classic sci-fi TV series Doctor Who, you’ve probably imagined yourself traversing the galaxy with The Doctor, joining him on his incredible outer space adventures.
Although the BBC studio in Cardiff, Wales, has yet to pin down the elusive, time-traveling alien, it comes close to the real thing with its Doctor Who Experience, an interactive tour that promises an adventure worthy of The Doctor and his companions.
During the experience, guests will follow The Doctor himself on an interactive adventure through time and space. The excitement begins in the Gallifrey Museum, and journeys into the heart of the TARDIS, The Doctor’s ship which has the outward appearance of a police call box from the 1960s.
After the interactive journey with The Doctor, guests can get an eyeful of original Doctor Who props and artifacts in the studio’s Exhibition Hall. Among the highlights of the exhibition are a collection of The Doctor’s iconic costumes from the 1960s up to the present day, three full TARDIS sets straight from the show and cast members’ handprints.
The studio also offers tours of the TARDIS set currently used in the TV show, but check the website for availability, as those tours are only offered when the show’s filming schedule permits.
Visit the website for more information, and remember — don’t blink!
