Oh, Ranger! National Park Finder App is the easiest, most comprehensive tool to find a park near you. The app contains every federal and state park, besides thousands of additional national forests, wildlife refuges, BLM sites, U.S. Army Corps recreation areas and other public lands. If you are looking to get outside, Oh, Ranger! is the app for you.
The free smartphone app is intuitive and easy to use. You can search for parks by location, which will provide a map, or see a list of what’s nearby. Each listing provides details of what that park offers, a description, directions and contact details. Users can search and filter parks by their preferred activities, choosing from 20 options including everything from camping to hunting. Users also have the option of adding sites to a favorites list.
Some users noted they wish the app had more photos, but that has been the only complaint. The photo database, in addition, is growing and users can submit their own pictures. The app’s extensive database and ease of use, which both surpass rival apps such as Yelp, are features that keep users coming back. In reality, Oh, Ranger! stands alone as the app that helps users find an outdoor site.
Oh, Ranger! is free, easy to use and comprehensive; and it may well become one of your favorite apps.
