Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport debuted its new Jazz Lounge at Kestra Music Series in March; the weekly event is held every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Kestra Restaurant, 7–10 p.m. Will Dailey, artist-in-residence, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, curates the event, showcasing local jazz musicians from institutions like Berklee and New England Conservatory.
“I travel extensively for music, staying in many hotels, yet none match the feeling I get when I step into the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, with all it has to offer for the eyes, ears, and mind,” said Dailey. “The jazz lounge at Kestra will elevate that experience and be even more special, thanks to the goldmine of talent that will be playing this vital music there every week.”
Signature and rotating jazz-themed cocktails and a small-plate menu accompany the live music. Musicians in the Jazz Lounge at Kestra Music Series have included Alex Minasian, Steve Fell, Yoko Miwa and Charlee Loyst.
“Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is committed to celebrating the Boston Seaport’s culturally rich heritage and vibrant arts scene,” said Leon Bolivar, director of marketing, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. “The Jazz Lounge at Kestra Music Series and the partnership with ArtsBoston embodies this commitment, offering guests an immersive experience that blends exceptional art, culinary delights, and the unique ambiance of our hotel.”
Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport also recently partnered with ArtsBoston; during the evening series, the hotel and ArtsBoston will recognize city art leaders for their contributions to art in the community. The hotel’s specially commissioned art collection pays tribute to the spirit of the local artist community.
