Monthly subscriptions are good and well when it comes to things like television and gyms, but you’ve probably never considered purchasing a monthly subscription for flights. OneGo is the first and only monthly subscription plan for flights on major airlines, with app-supported booking right at your fingertips. Just choose the right subscription plan and start flying. You even get to continue earning miles and rewards points from your favorite airlines, just like normal. There are both regional and nationwide plans, utilizing more than 700 routes and 76 domestic airports.
Setting up your account costs a one-time fee of $495. After that, you can pick a plan that works for you. The West subscription plan is $1,500 per month and includes 35 routes and 14 airports in California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona. The Central subscription plan also includes 35 routes, with 18 airports at $1,950 per month. Routes travel between all states from Idaho, Utah and New Mexico eastward to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Minnesota. The East subscription plan includes 158 routes and 39 airports for $2,300 per month. It includes routes in every state from Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana eastward. The Nationwide plan is $2,950 per month.
There are downsides to the service. Travelers can currently only book economy class. You can typically only have four non-stop flights booked at one time, and you have to pay an added fee to book more than four. You can only book flights as far in advance as you have paid for a subscription, so normally you could only book one month in advance, but if you’re willing to pay for four months of a subscription, you can book flights four months in advance.
OneGo targets frequent travelers who need a set, consistent budget for their travel from month-to-month. They don’t claim to offer flights for more affordable rates, but they do point out they save travelers a large amount of time and hassle, if not money.
