Boost your wardrobe without the hassles of shopping in stores or online with Trunk Club, an apparel service that does the shopping for you.
The Chicago-based company caters to both men and women who want premium clothing and great wardrobe advice without any work. Sign-up requires members to complete a style survey honing in on their clothing preferences, budget and existing wardrobe. Participants are then connected with real people who handpick the best pieces for their size and style and are sent a preview of the items online.
After reviewing their personalized picks, Trunk Club ships trunks of personalized picks directly to members for free, giving them 10 days to try everything on, keep what they like and send the rest back, also for free.
After initially providing only men with curated trunks of clothing, Trunk Club is now extending its services to women, offering ladies the chance to receive clothing and accessories from more than 100 contemporary brands such as Theory, Vince Camuto, Diane von Furstenberg, Rag & Bone and Joie.
For those who prefer an in-person personal shopper experience, Trunk Club also operates clubhouses in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C., where members can schedule in-person fittings and meet with their stylists for one-on-one appointments.
There are no membership fees, minimum purchases or shipping charges. Members are able to request a specific budget to their stylists. Clothing is priced similar to high-end brands in department stores such as Nordstrom.
