Intrigued by the idea of using AI to plan travel, but not sure where to get started with ChatGPT? Wanderboat can help.
Wanderboat is a new AI application created by AI experts from Microsoft and Meta. It uses an AI-powered interface and intuitive chat feature to offer tailored recommendations and visuals like immersive maps via a search engine that combines web content with video, social media posts and reviews. Users can ask questions and build itineraries, whether they’re just planning a trip or actively on one.
To get started, all you have to do is pick whether you’re planning a trip or just an outing, and then type a query into the text box (you can also use voice to verbally chat with the platform). If you make a profile, you can also follow other users and save your travel plans.
“People have become more isolated behind their screens. Technology can be a nutrient that helps people reconnect with the real world and I built Wanderboat with that intention,” explained You Wu, founder and CEO, Wanderboat. “We’re taking a human approach to AI by fostering creativity and exploration, easing the travel-planning burden so people can spend less time researching, more time experiencing.”
