Planning to be in Lisbon this holiday season? Be sure you stop by these four can’t-miss holiday markets.
Situated in Eduardo VII Park, this market offers all your classic holiday market features, such as an ice-skating rink and festive vendor stalls. Carnival rides appeal to both kids and kids at heart. Entry to the market is free and pets are welcome.
While this market is located slightly outside Lisbon, it’s still a can’t-miss due to its setting: a medieval village. Festivities encompass a craft market, holiday lights and live performances, as well as visits from Santa, and they run through December.
This market specifically focuses on local, sustainable and handmade artisan products, as well as local, authentic foods. This market doesn’t last all holiday season, though, so be sure to look out for this year’s opening dates and times.
From mid-November through mid-December, Rossio Christmas Market offers a classic European Christmas market vibe in a historic square with wooden house stalls offering delicious foods and handcrafts. The market is free to enter and live music sets the mood.
