People never grow out of love for trampoline,s and it just so happens Europeans developed a way to keep on bouncing without getting ridiculed for it: bossaball.
Bossaball is a sport that combines volleyball, gymnastic and trampolining into one awesome beachside spectacle that helps keep you in shape and having fun at the same time. Participants are divided into two teams positioned on opposite sides of a net and given large trampolines to bounce on as they try and keep the ball from hitting the ground.
The rules are simple: Get the ball back over the net while using any part of your body available, while also hopping to the rhythm of traditional bossa nova tunes. The referee keeps track of gameplay while also acting as de facto DJ. It’s been gaining traction over the past few years all over Spain, but is highly popular in the southern town of Andalucía where competitions are regularly held throughout the summer months.
You don’t even have to have a group to join in; just make a few friends at the beach and get a game started while you’re there! It’s simple enough for children to play, but adults love it too since it lets them bounce up to 12 feet in the air.
