The Pocket Chainsaw was designed for sportspeople and homeowners as a quick and easy tool to cut what needs cutting, where it needs cutting.
The chainsaw is made of high-strength, heat-treated steel and is rust resistant. It uncoils to 28 inches long with 124 bi-directional teeth that can cut through a 3-inch diameter limb in less than 10 seconds. Plus, it has the additional advantage of not being attached to a wieldy motor, so you can cut in corners, under fences and pretty much anywhere a normal chainsaw couldn’t. That’s pretty darn good. All of that and it fits in your pocket in its nifty carrying tin.
As such, it is incredibly portable. So you can take it hunting, camping, hiking or wherever you go that you may need to cut wood or clear heavy brush. Its recommended uses include cutting firewood and lumber, clearing trails and campsites and clearing heavy brush. Or simply keep it in your car for emergencies.
Make sure you purchase the saw with handles; however, as they will make it much easier to use. The saw retails at about $35, but you should be able to find a deal that knocks it down to around $25. Some reviewers like the Pocket Chainsaw best, while others prefer the competitor. But all agree the Pocket Chainsaw is exactly what is claims to be: A portable tool that gets the job done.
