For the first time ever, Napoleon’s great-great grandniece, Zenaide Giunta, is offering one of her five castles as an events space—Il Castello di Bagnara (Bagnara Castle) is the private residence of a noble family. For those brides who’ve always wished to feel like a princess on their big day, here’s your chance.
Bagnara Castle is a complex of buildings, including a dwelling space, a crenelated tower, a three-story palazzo, a stone mill, a 17th-century consecrated chapel and an orangery. The grounds also include a historic park, a pool and an outdoor fireplace. The castle is part of Tenuta di Bagnara, a 1,500-acre medieval estate and working farm in Umbria’s Tiber Valley, on the border of Tuscany in Italy.
The castle can accommodate up to 30 wedding guests in another on-site castle, Pieve San Quirico Castle, a converted villa with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, spacious living quarters, a garden and a pool. Bagnara Tower, also on-site, sleeps an additional 15 guests in four apartments.
Email here for more information; a wedding planner is available, as well as additional services including a professional chef, a concierge and spa services.
