Enjoy greater connectivity between the United States and Denmark with new direct flights between Seattle (SEA) and Copenhagen (CPH), and Minneapolis (MSP) and Copenhagen, the former from Scandinavian Airlines and the latter from Delta Air Lines. Both routes are available starting in May. To make your visit easier once you land, later in the year, Copenhagen opens its first light rail line connecting the city with the surrounding region.
When booking your stay, you’ll have several new or recently renovated hotels to choose from. Hotel Hans by Brøchner Hotels opens in summer in Copenhagen, with a desirable location and nearly 100 guestrooms in a 1900 building. The hotel’s suites feature rooftop terraces with city views. Similarly, a historic cinema receives new life as a hotel with the January opening of Park Lane Copenhagen.
Looking for new cultural or adventure attractions? Check out the expanded ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, with new additions including a sky space art installation, underground gallery and public art square. Or, hike or go wildlife watching at the country’s recently proposed UNESCO World Heritage site of Møns Klint.
