Big Night New Orleans New Year’s Eve Gala
On Dec. 31, The Hyatt Regency will host the popular Big Night New Orleans, an event featuring live music, a silent disco, casino games and many themed party areas. An open bar with local bites will also accompany this exciting event. Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire to truly get into the New Year’s Eve spirit.
Funkin’ Into the New Year with Big Sam by the Jazz Playhouse
Located in the lobby of Royal Sonesta Hotel, The Jazz Playhouse has a full night of live New Orleans music planned for Dec. 31. Tickets to the event include hors d’oeuvres and a premium buffet, a premium open bar with inspired craft cocktails and a Champagne toast at midnight. The dinner will take place in the Evangeline event space within the hotel 8–9 p.m., followed by the live show with Big Sam in the Jazz Playhouse starting at 9:30 p.m. Cocktail attire is suggested to fully feel like you are in the heart of the French Quarter!

On New Year’s Eve, 9 p.m.–1 a.m., guests can enjoy a display of fireworks on dueling barges on the river. As New Orleans’ newest venue, Marche will provide guests with some of the best views of the celebrations. In addition to gourmet food stations and hors d’oeuvres, an evening at the Marche will also include a full open premium bar and free-flowing Champagne, culminating in a toast at midnight to ring in the New Year. Live music by the Benchwarmers will accompany the festivities, as well.
New Year’s Eve Balcony on Bourbon Street
Book a room at Cornet Restaurant to watch the New Year’s Eve celebrations from one of the iconic balconies of the historic city. Beginning at 10 p.m., the Bourbon Street Balcony will include three hours of an open premium bar, light bites and a Champagne toast at midnight. Guests can witness the festivities from above and in the comfort of an authentic Cajun and Creole restaurant.
