London came in second, with its record-breaking number of green spaces. With the highest happiness ranking on the list, Helsinki comes in third place overall. No. 4 on the list, Copenhagen offers free healthcare and a healthy work-life balance. Vienna rounds out the top five with its high quality of life index ranking.
The cities were ranked using seven factors: quality of life, health care, cost of living, pollution, number of parks, number of spas and wellness centers, and happiness levels. For more information on methodology, visit the website.
