Tips / Travel

While it’s always exciting to visit a new destination on your list, there’s something to be said about going back to a place you love. Consider revisiting a destination for your next vacation and follow our tips for making the most of your return visit.

Establish a Favorite

Repeat visits of a destination allow you to return to favorite spots. Whether it’s a bar, restaurant or boutique, you’ll feel like a local when you already have a favorite spot in the city.

See What You Missed

It’s unlikely you’ll be able to experience everything you want to on one visit. Use a return trip as an opportunity to see the places you missed the first time. Check out a museum you didn’t have time to explore. Have dessert at a sweet shop where you were too full to indulge.

Change Your Travel Partner

A trip will be different depending on who you travel with. If you first explored a destination with your significant other, make your next visit a friends’ trip — or vice versa.

Pick a Different Time

Places can change drastically depending on the time of year. See how the destination is different during a different season. Or plan your visit around a special event or festival that only happens once a year.
