Ever opened your Uber or Lyft app and wished rideshare services were just a little bit more affordable? Well, maybe you can find your perfectly priced ride via the new-to-the-United States rideshare app inDrive.
Just launched in its first U.S. market in South Florida, inDrive is currently the world’s second-most downloaded rideshare app, offering travelers (and locals) a unique benefit other rideshare brands can’t compete with. Instead of simply showing you the prices for rides at any given moment, the app allows you to say what you want to pay. If a driver agrees to your proposed price, you have your ride. If they don’t agree, they can counter-offer with another price, until you reach an agreement.

According to Adam Warner, country manager, United States, inDrive, and prior director at Lyft, “inDrive puts power in the hands of drivers and riders through our peer-to-peer pricing model and creates a more engaging customer experience — one that both addresses the need for fair pricing and empowers community members with reliable transportation.”
Other features inDrive provides include trip detail sharing for extra safety and an emergency button to contact authorities with one touch.
Currently, inDrive is operational between South Beach and Jupiter, Florida.
