At one point, the Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ships were the largest in the world. While that’s not the case any longer (other Royal Caribbean ships have surpassed them), these ships are still pretty impressive — and, with recent renovations, they’re becoming even more so, as can be seen with the revamped Allure of the Seas. Ready to set sail in April 2025 with a bevy of new features, the ship is getting a $100 million makeover.
In addition to the new tiki bar and reimagined pool areas, the ship will also newly offer dining options like The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, and new suite options like the new Ultimate Panoramic Suite situated above the bridge and offering 200-degree views.
When newly launched, Allure of the Seas will offer itineraries in Europe, with cruises stopping in France, Italy and Spain.
“From the new Icon and Utopia of the Seas to now the more than $100 million transformation of Allure of the Seas, we’ve upped the ante threefold on the different ways vacationers can get away and make memories with Royal Caribbean,” said Jay Schneider, chief product innovation officer, Royal Caribbean International. “Allure will be reimagined with the best of Royal Caribbean and what travelers love. Between new favorites, like the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, and experiences that unlock core memories time and time again, from an incredible pool deck to an unmatched combination of thrills and ways to chill, Allure will have even more of everything that makes it a standout favorite.”
