Spring Break

Located on Ibiza’s Playa D’en Bossa, Sankeys has become one of the island’s most respected clubs since opening in 2011, fully living up to the name of its legendary older brother located in Manchester. This year the club is entertaining the island with the Seven Wonders of Sankeys Ibiza, which will feature a party for every day of the week, each with its own unique sound.

Monday:

The G-House duo from France, Amine Edge & DANCE will be kicking off the week, joined by their CUFF labelmates Sirius Hood, Syap and Stuff.

Tuesday:

Last year’s Tribal Sessions were highly praised for their blend of house, techno and disco. This year’s residents will be Sante, Darius Syrossian, Sidney Charles and Jozef K.

Wednesday:

Sankeys only just announced what their secret surprise for Wednesday was. Every week for 15 weeks this summer, Darren Hughes will be bringing his renowned We Love party to Sankeys Ibiza.

Thursday:

Sankeys will be bringing over their Colors night from Manchester as Ibiza’s Redlight party. Every Thursday, the club will be spinning classic U,S. house and garage, headed by S-Man, a.k.a. the legendary Roger Sanchez.

Friday:

The newest addition to Sankeys Ibiza will be Shelter, showcasing the more indie leanings of drum and bass, dubstep, grime and hip hop. The party will be curated by UK bass veteran Doorly, as well as some of Sankeys favorite labels like Rinse, Moda Black and Food Music.

Saturday:

London’s signature underground house music party, known as Magna Carta, will be coming to Sankeys on Saturday, with some of the UK’s top talent in charge of music. Residents include East Enders, Josh Butler, Max Chapman and Igluu.

Sunday:

Last but not least is ViVA Warriors, headed by the one-and-only Steve Lawler, and joined by his labelmates Anek and Detlef, spinning the best in house and techno.

Where to Find the Best Stargazing Spots in Ireland

This year, the Northern Lights put on quite the display across Ireland, but don’t think these lights are the only thing you can see in Ireland. In fact, many spots across the country provide some of the best opportunities to stargaze thanks to low levels of light pollution. Ireland has three International Dark Sky Parks and even more spots which, although not accredited, are worth a visit for anyone wishing to see the sky in its unfiltered form.
