More and more travel brands join the sober travel movement, providing mocktails and zero-proof libations to travelers choosing to either cut back or cut out alcohol while traveling. The latest of these is cruise line Seabourn, which recently announced its new Zero @ Sea initiative, which will include a new menu of non-alcoholic cocktails available to cruisers.
Cocktails you can expect to see during your next cruise? Many are made using the rising number of zero-proof spirits brands. Consider ordering the Amalfi Spritz, made with non-alcoholic rosé and Lyre Italian Orange; the Ginger Blossom, made with Seedlip Groove 42, elderflower and ginger ale; or the Ginny ‘n Tonic, made with Optimist Bright, elderflower and grapefruit.
“We understand that our guests’ preferences are always evolving, and we’ve seen an increasing demand for non-alcoholic beverages. Our new Zero @ Sea program was designed to meet those needs for alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages,” said Gerald Mösslinger, senior vice president of guest operations, Seabourn. “The heart of our ultra-luxury experiences is to provide our extraordinary guests the luxury of choice, and we’re proud to offer an extensive menu of innovative and delicious zero-proof cocktails for guests to enjoy when they sail on Seabourn.”
