Avid travelers have long known Skyscanner is a great place to go to find affordable flights, especially if you’re flexible about where you might travel on your next trip, allowing you to search for flights to anywhere from your home base. The platform just recently dropped a new feature, though, that’ll help you save even more on flights.
The new feature, dubbed DROPS, shows you flights from your chosen airport that have dropped in price by at least 20 percent on any given day.
“When choosing where to go on vacation, cost is still the deciding factor for most Americans,” commented Laura Lindsay, global travel trends expert, Skyscanner. “In fact, our 2025 Travel Trends Report revealed 51 percent of Americans consider flights the most important factor when planning a trip — before hotel and food. We want to help travelers make their money go further, so they can go farther and explore new destinations. In addition to the price tracking and other savings features Skyscanner offers, DROPS will be another tool for travelers to access and feel confident they can book that getaway without breaking the bank.”
