Looking for some fitness motivation on your travels? Check out Fitbit, a wrist-worn activity tracker that helps travelers keep up their workout and diet at home and on the road.
Available in several different colors and models, the device’s technology tracks user’s steps, distance traveled, hours slept and calories burned, making it easier for travelers to determine how far they walked while sightseeing, log the amount of calories consumed and monitor the quality of their jet-lagged slumber.
With Fitbit’s ability to sync to computers and smartphones, users can easily track their progress, exercise and sleep patterns through graphs and charts even while far from home.
Wristbands range from $59.95 to $99.95, depending on the model. Options include the Fitbit Zip, capable of tracking steps, distance and calories burned; and the Fitbit One and Fitbit Flex, with all of the Zip features plus the ability to track floors climbed, monitor sleep quality and wake users with a vibrating alarm. Fitbit Flex also allows users to set personal goals.
A trendy collection of Tory Burch accessories designed exclusively for the Flex model is available for fashion-forward users, featuring metal hinged bracelets, pendant necklaces and silicone bracelets with signature Tory Burch patterns.
