Most of the luggage you see as you walk through an airport typically falls into two color categories: black or brown. A suitcase in a basic hue is, of course, still functional, but what if your bag was fun and functional? If you love to show off your personality and stand out in a crowd, these suitcases were made for you. Bonus: You’ll be able to spot your bag on the luggage carousel from a mile away.

Kate Spade Stowaway Luggage, $700

This suitcase will make you feel as if you are about to board the Orient Express, even if you’re catching a plane to Milwaukee. Classic details and pops of yellow make for a timeless piece.

Ikea UPPTÄCKA, $89.99

This wheeled suitcase in a cheerful yellow-orange shade is both cute and convenient — when it’s time to stash it away, it collapses for easy storage. The 3D polka-dot pattern adds a touch of Scandinavian flair.

Olympia “New Age” Art Series 25-inch Medium Hardside Spinner Upright Suitcase, $127.79

Go bold, or go home. Or in this case, leave home with a vibrantly patterned suitcase. The geometric motifs in your choice of pink or yellow look as if they’ve been pulled from a 1960s miniskirt.

Orinico Trolley Suitcase, $1,298

At first, this suitcase appears to be a basic bag in its cognac hue. But wait — there’s glitter! The suitcase’s golden sequins are sure to make you shine wherever you go.

IT Luggage Sunset Beach 4 Wheel 28 Inch Upright, $112.80

Who says you can’t start your vacation at the airport? This suitcase featuring a sunny tropical scene will make you dream of warmer locales.

Waverly Luggage, Lace It Up 25-inch Hardside Spinner Upright, $109.99

This feminine suitcase has an intricate lace print and chic gold details, but what really makes it pop is its bright-orange color. It even has orange wheels.

Heys America FVT World Map 21-inch Spinner, $149.99

Proclaim you’re a world traveler with a suitcase that features a scene of North America and looks a lot like something you’d see in It’s a Small World.

Louis Vuitton Pégase 45, $3,650

If you’re in the market for an investment piece, you can’t go wrong with Louis Vuitton luggage. But if the classic Monogram Vernis print is not for you, punch it up in glossy red.

Olympia Luggage, Wheeled Spinner Upright, $271

Pink is a brave color, but if it’s your favorite, this bubblegum-pink, yet durable, suitcase is right up your alley. Barbie may want to borrow it.

Ikase POP Art Hardcase 24-inch Spinner, $128

Are you an art aficionado? Display your interest with a suitcase that features Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s soup artwork. See, who says suitcases have to be boring or basic?
