Home to the world’s largest outdoor rodeo, Cheyenne, Wyoming, invites everyone to try their hand at cowboying this summer with the first-of-its-kind Saddle Up Pass. Curated by Visit Cheyenne, this pass compiles top cowboy-inspired experiences and local retailers for a transformative immersion into Western culture.
How it works:
For $125, the Saddle Up Pass provides all preparation needed to become a cowboy or cowgirl this summer rodeo season. Saddle Up passholders receive:
- A 60-minute horseback ride and roping lesson at Terry Bison Ranch
- Discounts to local shops including The Wrangler, Wild J Trading and Alexis Drake
- Admission to the 90-minute Wild West Tour on Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley
- Passes to museums like Cowgirls of the West and Cheyenne Depot Museum
- A photoshoot at Emma’s Old Time Photos with a complimentary 8×10 print souvenir
In addition to the pass, Cheyenne gears up for an exciting summer. Hell on Wheels kicks off this June and runs through September, while the highly anticipated Cheyenne Frontier Days, the world’s largest annual rodeo, will be held July 19–28. Rodeo events include barrel racing, bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, breakaway roping, wild horse races and more. Headline acts this year include Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Ludacris and Lainey Wilson Flatland Cavalry.
