Tauck recently announced plans to expand its small-ship ocean cruising offerings for 2026. The tour operator will add two new itineraries to its portfolio next year in Japan, South Korea and the Arctic Circle.
Sakura Seas: Japan & South Korea marks Tauck’s entry to Seoul. This 14-day itinerary introduces guests to some of the most iconic landmarks in South Korea and Japan. Three departures of the itinerary will be available in April 2026. Pricing starts at $16,490 per person. Arctic Days & Northern Lights brings guests to northern Norway for exploration of the region’s cultural and natural wonders with hopes of spotting the Aurora Borealis.
“Our guests are seeking memorable, life-enhancing experiences in fascinating destinations where they can forge meaningful bonds with local cultures and their fellow travelers,” said Jennifer Tombaugh, CEO, Tauck. “In addition to providing a more personalized experience for our guests, our small ship cruises access smaller harbors and create opportunities for those authentic cultural encounters our guests value so highly. It’s the difference between simply visiting a destination and truly immersing yourself in its culture, history and natural beauty.”
Part of its Small is Big philosophy, Tauck will sail 133 departures of 20 itineraries aboard 20 ocean-sailing small ships in 2026 across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Antarctica. These itineraries emphasize personalization through deeper exploration of cultural experiences.
