St. Moritz

Whether you want to spend your winter days bobsledding, ski jumping, curling or cross-country skiing, you can find your favorite snow and ice activity at St. Moritz in Switzerland. The region features lots of luxury hotels, shopping and dining as well, if you can squeeze a bit of pampering into your schedule.

Colorado

Colorado has so much more to offer than simply skiing in Aspen. Dogsledding, ice climbing, snowmobiling and more are all great winter activities you can find in areas other than Aspen for more affordable travel prices.

Andorra

This tiny country offers plenty for the adventurous traveler. Drive a Land Rover down the slopes or speed down on an Airboard. You can explore the mountains in the Gicafer (a Swedish caterpillar vehicle) then spend your nights in an igloo hotel. For a memorable thrill, try snow canyoning.

Whistler

Whistler may be one of the most gorgeous ski destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Not terribly far from Vancouver, guests can enjoy heli-skiing, winter bungee jumping, sleigh rides, Olympic tours and more, in addition to the traditional winter activities such as skiing and snowboarding.
