Destinations / Europe

Just in time for spring and summer, The Dim Sum Terrace opens its doors on Harrods’ fourth floor. As part of the iconic department store, The Dim Sum Terrace offers diners a bright and airy atmosphere to enjoy delicious Asian fare.

Bathed in natural light, The Dim Sum Terrace is just one of two terraces at Harrods. Come evening, the terrace transforms into a golden space, perfect for a sunset soirée. Guests enjoy views over the rooftops of West London and the busy streets below.

All of the restaurant’s dumplings are handmade by in-house chefs every morning. Dumpling options include both the classics and some more unusual flavors and recipes unique to The Dim Sum Terrace. Choose your dumplings either steamed, fried or baked, all generously filled with a variety of ingredients and flavors.

Try the dim sum of scallop and prawn sui ma topped with foie gras or, if lobster is more your preference, select the lobster and coriander dumplings. Other highlights include deep-fried taro and wagyu dumplings with plum sauce and caviar. The Dim Sum Terrace also offers Cantonese classics like pork sui long bao topped with vinegar pearls and BBQ pork char siu bao. Lighter bites like fermented chili and dover sole dumplings are also a hit.

The Dim Sum Terrace also features an extensive drinks list, with both the classics and signature cocktails. Signature beverages like the Picanteria include Jose Cuervo Reposado, fresh coriander, agave syrup, fresh lime juice and jalapeno for a spicy punch. Prefer something sweeter? The Amaretto and Grapefruit Sour sees amaretto, lime juice, simple syrup, grapefruit purée and elderflower liqueur come together for a bright and refreshing cocktail.

Diners can also browse a large menu of traditional Chinese teas, all served in glass tea-ware, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails.
