Forget kegs. The new growler by DrinkTanks is large enough to provide beer for an entire party. The Juggernaut Beer Growler is large enough to hold 10 bottles of beer while providing you a handy way to transport your hoppy libations without the need for a bulky cooler or fridge.
DrinkTanks launched a Kickstarter campaign hoping to receive $75,000 to fund their new design and have ended up garnering nearly $250,000 instead. The result? A portable, self-contained kegging system with a “Kegulator” topper, integrated CO2, tap system, purge valve and its own pressure gauge.
The Juggernaut is able to keep your beer at the temperature you pour it in at for up to 24 hours. The stainless steel design, double-walled and vacuum insulated, helps prevent any of the flavors from escaping. It also comes with an Auto-Regulating Keg Cap. Not only is it great to take with you on camping trips, but you can also use it to help brew your own beer at home. At 128 ounces, it’s billed as the world’s largest personal keg.
The Juggernaut currently comes in four engraved designs and costs $119. The first shipments are planned for September 2015 and the Kickstarter campaign ends in April, so there’s still time for adding new features.
