With noctourism taking over the 2025 travel scene, travelers look for more nighttime experiences, on the hunt for destinations perfect for stargazing, once-in-a-lifetime cosmic events and constellation tracking.
IHG Hotels & Resorts leads the charge with this new trend by offering travelers a variety of unique astronomy experiences at properties around the world. A lot of hotels across the portfolio are situated away from the city lights, providing guests with some of the darkest skies and best views of the celestial sky.
Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa
Located in Vero Beach, Florida, this hotel offers a stargazing on the sea experience that includes a complimentary river boat ride on the Indian River and star talk led by a local astronomer. Guests will also be able to enjoy a picnic snack from on-site restaurant Heaton’s while on the boat.

Guests staying at InterContinental Hayman Island Great Barrier Reef have the opportunity to participate in the hotel’s Stargazing and Astronomy Experience. The hotel partners with Yooribaya Cultural Experiences to offer a one-of-a-kind experience using the sky and stars as a compass. This experience allows guests to connect with nature through the eyes of the indigenous Ngaro and Gia People, Aboriginal people very in tune with the land and sea.
