The Twin Fin, formerly known as Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, opens in Waikiki, Hawai’i, this November following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The beachfront hotel serves as a gathering place for guests and the local community to discover art and music and discuss Waikiki’s surfing traditions.
The property’s name comes from a surfboard style with two fins, ideal for a mellow and playful surf. Guestrooms and suites feature a contemporary aesthetic with Mid-Century Modern design elements and a nod to surf culture. In-room décor features tropical patterns and blue hues, reflecting the hotel’s location. The rooms boast views of Waikiki Beach and each guest receives a Tentikle phone mount for use during their stay.
The Twin Fin’s pool deck features six new cabanas. Pool service overlooking Waikiki Beach includes a rotating series of DJs and other musical performances in the evenings. Guests may take advantage of other on-site programming, including stargazing activities, vinyl nights and story sessions.
The property is ideal for surfers. The Twin Fin partnered with Surfline, the leading company for wave forecasting and surf reports, to install HD cameras streaming real-time surf conditions on a video wall in the lobby and other locations throughout the property. Surfline also offers guests a discounted premium membership after their stay.
Rates start at $239 per night.
