You’ve never dined in an authentic Italian restaurant quite like this one. Over in Kensington in West London, you can indulge in some of the city’s best Italian dishes at Jacuzzi, a restaurant covering three floors, with each featuring a different vibe and design for all dining occasions. A Big Mamma restaurant, Jacuzzi spans 4,000 square feet and seats up to 170 guests at a time.
Decked with Roman statues, Murano glass and other Italian treasures, each room embodies Renaissance-era designs, with high ceilings, an alabaster-walled dining room, a wall lined with 1,000 bottles and a spiraling marble radial floor. The restaurant even features a massive lemon tree which serves as a canopy across the stucco and Murano glass chandelier-filled ceiling.
On the mezzanine floor, dine among original Sicilian pots and greenery, transporting guests to the Sicilian coast. Here, guests eat and drink beneath a retractable glass ceiling in the summer months, with a marble bar as the centerpiece of the space. On Jacuzzi’s top floor, you’ll find a more romantic atmosphere, with plush seating, marble flooring, and plinths and murals reminiscent of old Italian art.
With a menu changing every month to match the season, Jacuzzi offers a wide array of dishes, desserts and drinks. From cheese-stuffed Roman focaccias emerging straight out of the focaccia oven to slow-cooked pulled veal, each dish honors Italy’s flavors.
Those who gravitate toward pasta dishes will love the pasta fresca, a dish featuring handmade pasta with spiced lamb ragu and creamy ricotta, and topped with provola cheese, hazelnuts and crispy sage. Jacuzzi also boasts homemade spaghetti alla chitarra, made with creamy truffle sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano and fresh black truffle, served in a pecorino wheel. As summer nears, opt for the lobster risotto ai Frutti di Mare, a risotto dish filled with Cornish lobster and masses of clams. Jacuzzi also cooks stunning pizzas made in an authentic pizza oven, as well as various steaks, from T-bones to rib-eyes.
Make Jacuzzi a romantic evening and end the night with chocolate fondue for two. Or, if you prefer something lighter, Jacuzzi’s airy Choco Mousse with coffee praline is scooped tableside.
The restaurant’s beverage program can’t be ignored either. Sip on two of the finest Champagne cocktails: the Tintoretto (a white tea-infused Amaro Savoia with pomegranate juice and Champagne) and the Sgroppino (a cocktail made with house-made bergamot sorbet, Italicus liqueur, limoncello and Champagne). Jacuzzi also offers an extensive wine list with some of the finest Italian sparkling wines.
