While Las Vegas can be an amazing experience, throwing a bachelor party there can be clichéd and hackneyed. For an unusual experience, bachelors shouldtake their final send-off to the Sin City of the East — Macau.
This Chinese city just a short ferry ride from Hong Kong is home to four of the five largest casinos in the world, with 33 casinos in total. Unlike other areas in China, Macau was a colony of Portugal until 1999, giving it a fascinating cultural fusion. For these reasons, Macau is quickly becoming a world-renowned stag party destination.
Venetian Macau
The crown jewel of the city is the Venetian Macau, the largest casino in the world at three times the size of the MGM Grand. This Las Vegas Sands-owned mega casino located on the Cotai Strip features a variety of luxury suites, each with more than 750 square feet of space and marble-floored bathrooms. It features four gaming areas: Red Dragon, Phoenix, Golden Fish and Imperial House, as well as 350 international shops.
City of Dreams
For those looking for more than gambling, there is the City of Dreams Hotel and Casino. While it is still the second largest casino in the world, it also features entertainment opportunities like the TABOO Cabaret Club, as well as Macau’s largest nightclub, Club Cubic. Additionally, visitors should experience the House of Dancing Water, a live theater performance that includes 239 water jets, made for shooting water into the air and creating visually stunning formations.
