A lot of people resort to trains to get around Europe, or they pay for expensive flights for 30-minute trips. The train is a great option, but if you’re in a hurry, don’t be the guy flying big budget airlines when you can get by much cheaper.
Search Budget Airlines
There are numerous budget airlines throughout Europe that’ll get you from one country to the next for the price of a taxi trip across New York City. Actually, probably less than that. Search airlines like Ryanair and easyJet for dirt-cheap flights.
Plan Ahead of Time
These flights can fill up fast, so plan your trip ahead of time and buy your tickets in advance whenever you can. Otherwise, you might be dropping $100 on a flight that could’ve cost you $30.
Remember, They’re Non-Refundable
The only downfall about these budget airlines is they’re often non-refundable. With such cheap prices, it’s hard to blame them. On the other hand, they’re also so cheap you might not feel it if you end up losing the cash you spent on a ticket.
Don’t Expect Luxury
You’re not flying Air Force One, so don’t get too picky when it comes to accommodations and service. You won’t be in the air long, so you can definitely get by without a cup of coffee or alcoholic beverage for the trip.
