The TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible Junior is a carry-on backpack big enough and durable enough to meet the needs of any traveler. The eBags product retails at $89.99 and includes a lifetime warranty.

The main interior compartment is roomy at 19 inches high, 5.5 inches deep and 13 inches wide. It’s perfect for a week’s worth of clothing and shoes or a handful of souvenirs. It’s even possible to use the area for both by utilizing the innovative fold-down shelf that splits the space. Coupled with the internal tie-down straps, this feature allows you to pack in layers and also prevents shifting.

Several other zippered compartments, including a mesh section inside the main compartment, a U-shaped organizer, a hidden vertical pocket and a top forehead compartment, makes it easy to organize and keep important documents within reach and out of sight. For business travelers, there is also a back laptop sling that will fit most computers. A discrete opening and thick, foam padding keeps laptops safe and comfortable to carry as well.

The backpack is well suited for long-term travelers and over-packers. There are full expansion zippers to add — or decrease — depth as well as compression straps and buckles that reduce stress on the zippers. The bag touts padded shoulder straps, a removable waist belt and three padded grab handles that make it comfortable and easy to maneuver.

The Mother Lode Weekender is available in six colors and, true to its junior title, meets the guidelines for overhead bin storage. Learn more at eBags.com.
