Skiing in Europe is a dream of many. Snow-capped mountains, Irish coffee and, most importantly, some of the best après-ski parties in the world. If you’ve packed your skis or snowboards for the continent across the pond, head to trails in these locales for some of the best post-slope fun.

Val Thorens, France
Sitting aloft above the French Alps, Val Thorens is home to the highest skiing in the region, allowing guests to party at new heights at places like the Frog and Roast Beef, the highest bar in Europe. The largest nightclub in the Alps (Malaysia) is also located in Val Thorens, making skiing and boarding a questionable feat the day after.
St. Anton, Austria
It´s best to hit the slopes early in the morning for some peaceful powder because starting at 3 p.m., the music begins to blare from bars at this Austrian resort. One of the bars (the Krazy Kanguruh) even has a ski jump on its deck.

Verbier, Switzerland
Continuing with the Alps is this high-end resort in southwestern Switzerland where class comes to party. Live music, underground clubs and afternoon partying may cost a pretty penny, but the pretty people make it worthwhile.

Livigno, Italy
With more than 150 bars, Livigno eclipses every other ski resort in the world in terms of the number of places to have an après-ski beverage. Try not to get lost among the throngs of thirsty skiers.
Salbaach, Austria
Although not as well known as its Alpine neighbors, Salbaach is building a reputation as a sought-after ski town. The slopes are open late into the night, as are the five nightclubs and copious bars.
