The City of Pines is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines, so you can rest assured a bustling nightlife scene popped up over the years. So, where does one go when seeking a solid drink in Baguio City?
Baguio Craft Brewery
Start off a night of bar hopping at the Tasting Room of Baguio Craft Brewery. This expansive brewery offers an eclectic collection of craft drinks and a delicious menu of food. Fill up on an Englishman in New York while you sample some local beef filets and corn. The alcohol content in the beer is higher than usual, so be sure to pace yourself.
2600 Gastropub
2600 Gastropub is a favorite among younger locals and boasts a bit of a dive bar atmosphere. There’s not much in the way of live music, but you’ll find plenty of cold brews, pool tables and typical bar food. It’s open late into night and serves as the last stop for many on a weekend night.
The Rabbit Hole is an Alice in Wonderland-themed bar with a dress code. The atmosphere is upscale if not a little psychedelic, and the staff has a reputation for being kind of strict. No sandals allowed here, but you will find a young crowd and ridiculously affordable cocktails.
Duyan
Duyan is a local favorite that’s both a restaurant and bar — or resto. Along with scrumptious food, you’ll find live acoustic music featuring both popular medleys and Filipino originals. The space is pretty small, and you won’t find much of a dance floor, but it’s perfect for anyone who wants to have a few drinks and chat with locals or friends.
Rumours Pub
Rumours is a Baguio institution that’s been around for decades. During the day the menu draws in a wide variety of clientele, from families to expats looking for something tasty on a budget. At night it turns into one of the most popular bars in town with the occasional live performance, but mostly great drinks that’ll knock you on your butt.
