It’s summertime. That means it’s time for barbecues, fireworks and, of course, music festivals. But before you break out your crop tops and decorative flower crowns, you must choose what festival of music and sunshine to attend wisely. Pick from one of these crowd favorites and you surely won’t go wrong.

Warped Tour

The reason Warped Tour is the most popular summer show (with more than 500,000 tickets sold each summer) is threefold: tickets are cheap, the tour attracts many well-known artists and it travels to 38 different cities. Highlights include: 3OH!3, Good Charlotte and just about every other punk rock band you can think of.

Lollapalooza

This famous festival in Chicago has a better lineup than ever this year, featuring artists like Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding. The exciting festival takes place July 28–31, but demand is so high direct tickets are sold out, so you’ll have to pay a marked-up rate on StubHub.

Want to see the same headliners as at Lollapalooza, the same exact weekend, but turned off by the price? You’re in luck! This Montreal music festival features Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more.

Panorama

Perhaps the most anticipated of the bunch, Panorama is the new kid on the block. From July 22–24, head to NYC for acts such as Arcade Fire, Lindsey Sterling and DJ Khaled.
