Near the northwest corner of the state, Shi Shi Beach is part of Olympic National Park’s wild coastline. Tidepools abound as do otters, sea lions and bald eagles. Giant freestanding sea stacks add to the drama.

Also within Olympic National Park, these beaches near Forks are accessible after walking a short distance through coastal rainforest. They’re excellent beach-combing spots and also offer views of dramatic sea stacks.
