Monte Carlo is primarily known as the Las Vegas of Europe, with tons of gambling and bars lining the streets. It also has some great restaurants to explore. Here are few of the best.
Buddha Bar
Buddha Bar is a favorite among tourists thanks to an eclectic, lively atmosphere and delicious meals. The upstairs dining is more laidback, while the downstairs has a more youthful energy about it. The sushi is among the best in town.
La Petit Bar
This charming little restaurant is a welcome reprieve from the high prices of Monte Carlo. The French Mediterranean cuisine is as good as anything you’ll find in the most expensive restaurants for half the price. It’s certainly a hidden gem.
Son of a Bun
Sometimes when you’re overseas all you want is a classic American burger. Son of a Bun is the place to find it. The prices are affordable and the food delightful.
Maya Baya
Maya Baya is the place to go if you’re looking to impress. The Asian menu with a focus on Japanese and Thai offers up some of the best food Europe has to offer, combined with a classy, enchanting atmosphere for a romantic night out.
Avenue 31
The upscale atmosphere of Avenue 31 can be off putting to those not looking to waste any cash, but the Italian dishes here are certainly worth throwing down a little extra. The restaurant offers seasonal dishes and you can never go wrong asking the waiter for suggestions.
