The adventure begins when the sun sets in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unique night activities turn the islands into a perfect destination for adventure seekers.
Here’s a glimpse of some of what awaits travelers after dark:
Kayak Under the Stars
On St. Thomas, a nighttime kayak adventure explores the ocean transformed into a glowing wonderland. On LED-lit, clear-bottom kayaks, glide over clear waters to spot stingrays, sea turtles, fish and more. Knowledgeable locals guide the experience past pristine beaches and beautifully lit resorts.
From Frederiksted Pier on St. Croix, night dive into the calm, moonlit waters to discover an undersea world of sea turtles, octopuses, seahorses, frogfish and more. Ambient light from the pier and a depth of only 35 feet mean this activity is appropriate for first-time night divers. Dive the pier both day and night to compare the shift in marine activity.
Stargaze
Unwind under the night sky of St. John, where a lack of light pollution makes it one of the best places in the Caribbean for stargazing. You can stargaze from Cinnamon Bay Beach, Peace Hill or even your own hotel balcony, as the stars shine bright and clear above the island. Gazers may also catch constellations and shooting stars.
