North America

The Ontario side of Niagara Falls (has two competing atmospheres — many attractions and restaurants are corny and campy, while others are classy and regal. Many people traveling to this area can choose one trajectory or the other, or perhaps try a little of both.

For breakfast, visitors might try the Flying Saucer Restaurant where they can enjoy the E.T. Special for $8.99 — three large eggs, two buttermilk pancakes, two strips of bacon, two sausages, two pieces of ham, Texas toast and homefries. Or, for something more traditional, try some stick-to-your-stomach food at Dena’s Home Cookin’.

Next, visitors can let the campiness continue as they make their way to Clifton Hill and buy a Fun Pass for just $25. There, they can visit the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Guinness Book of World Records and Movie Land Wax museums before taking a ride on the famous Niagara SkyWheel.

For lunch, guests can check out Savoury and Sweet for some traditional eastern European dishes like paprika beef goulash stew for $14.95.

After a quick bite, visitors should finally admire the main attraction: the falls. View the roaring water from below on the Maid of the Mist for $17, or for free from the heights of Rainbow Bridge.

For dinner, travelers should make their way to the Fallsview Casino Resort and eat some fine Italian cuisine at Ponte Vecchio. There, they can enjoy dishes like fettuccine al pescatore with gulf shrimp, calamari and manilla clams for just $25.

Finally, travelers can end their night at the Dragonfly Nightclub, one of the hottest destinations in the Niagara Falls area.
