In the morning, hop on a GREENbike to explore downtown Salt Lake. GREENbike, also known as SLC Bike Share, is a growing network of shareable bikes located throughout the downtown area. Follow the program’s Cycle the City route map, offering a comfortable ride on urban streets with bike lanes to 12 unique destinations. A 24-hour membership is $5.
Visit Squatters Pub Brewery for lunch and a pint. Located in the southwestern corner of downtown Salt Lake City in a historic hotel, the popular restaurant and pub offers about a dozen of its own beers on tap as well as pub favorites like bacon-topped meatloaf and burgers starting from $10.99.

Welcome spring at the 12th annual Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point, featuring 250,000 tulips of nearly 100 different varieties on display in the 55-acre Ashton Gardens. The festival takes place this year April 15–May 7 and features music, vendors and food on Fridays and Saturdays. Admission costs $20 for adults and gets you access until 8 p.m.
If the weather is warm enough, visit one of the city’s many restaurant patios for dinner. Fresco’s offers one of the best patios in Salt Lake City, a quaint, ivy-lined space that feels like a backyard.
