Start your day in Santa Fe with a morning bike tour. Ecomotive Electric Bike Shop offers guided tours of the city. The Coffee and Birds tour begins with a cup of coffee and a leisurely ride to the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary. Perfect for beginners, this tour costs $30 for two people.
Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, swing by Harry’s Roadhouse for regional breakfast fare. Featured on the Food Network, the quirky café is open daily and boasts vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The breakfast menu has items for every taste, including bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, traditional Mexican chilaquiles, blue-cornmeal waffles, homemade granola and daily specials. Wash your meal down with a glass of fresh-squeezed juice for $12–14 total.
Browse the popular shopping areas like Canyon Road and the Railyard District. Here you’ll find jewelry, leather goods, Southwestern clothing, pottery, art, home décor and specialty food. Sante Fe’s food trucks have a large following. Voted Best Food Truck 2014 by the readers of the Santa Fe Reporter, Bang Bite serves fast food made with fresh, quality ingredients. Grab a sandwich, salad, chili or other snack for about $6–10. You’ll find Bang Bite on the corner of Old Santa Fe Trail and Paseo De Peralta.
