For a sweet start to your day, stop by Bar el Comercio. The quaint bar and restaurant is famous for their churros. Add a cup of rich, thick hot chocolate and enjoy an early-morning sugar rush for less than $10.

A trip to Seville isn’t complete without a visit to the Alcázar. The royal palace developed by Moorish Muslim kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hours vary depending on the season. Adult admission costs about $10. Go for a stroll through Parque de María Luisa. The lush surroundings and Moorish fountains provide a serene escape from the city streets. Rent a row boat to take you through the park’s canals for about $6.

Espacio Eslava puts a modern spin on traditional Andalusian dishes, utilizing produce from the restaurant’s garden. Sample items like goose liver pâté and pheasant meat with olive oil or beef carpaccio with black olives, green pepper and mustard. Lunch entrees start around $16.

Visit the Museo del Baile Flamenco. The three-floor museum is housed in an 18th-century palace and showcases paintings, photos and other flamenco artifacts. Entrance is about $11 for adults. To experience flamenco in person, stick around for the nightly shows in the museum’s courtyard for about $22.

Touted as the oldest restaurant in Spain, El Rinconcillo is a great spot for a late dinner. Delight in a meal of tapas including extra large olives, cod fritters, Iberian ham, omelette and gazpacho. Pair your meal with a glass of Spanish wine for a dinner of about $20–25.
