Under Canvas recently announced the debut of ULUM, with plans to welcome travelers in March 2023 to its first location, ULUM Moab.
Situated just steps from the famous Looking Glass Arch in Moab, Utah, ULUM immerses travelers in the outdoors in a new way, with design-forward thinking and elevated camping accommodations. ULUM aims to integrate the natural surroundings with its accommodations, and ULUM’s first location in Moab sets a new standard in outdoor hospitality.
ULUM Moab sits within 200 acres of desert landscape, surrounded by 100-foot cliffs on three sides. Guests enjoy expansive views of Canyonlands National Park from their rooms thanks to the resort’s all-suite, safari-inspired tents. With all of the amenities of a luxury hotel, the resort includes dipping pools; upscale dining; and complimentary, wellness-focused programming.
Suite tents feature 360 square feet of interior space with a private, 70-square-foot deck. In addition to a bedroom with a king-sized bed, suites also feature plush Parachute linens, custom-branded robes, bedside tables topped with lanterns and a lounge area decked out with West Elm furnishings. Tents also come equipped with evaporative cooking fans and wood stoves. A barn door reveals an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, polished concrete sink and plant-based Aesop bath products.
ULUM’s culinary offerings further heighten guests’ experiences, with al-fresco dining serving fresh, seasonal dishes highlighting southwest flavors and sustainable ingredients. Guests can also enjoy craft cocktails drawing inspiration from local flora, including sage, juniper and prickly pear. ULUM Moab’s on-site café serves premium hot and cold espresso beverages, fresh juice, smoothies and grab-and-go lunches. At night, try the resort’s artisan chocolates and marshmallows for the ultimate s’mores night.
Resort programming includes stargazing; on-site hiking; complimentary yoga; and live, acoustic music. ULUM’s Adventure Concierge also connects guests with trusted, local outfitters for even more adventures, from white-water rafting to rock climbing to guided park tours.
