“With the debut of Union Market Hotel, we are thrilled to introduce a vibrant, modern retreat to the historic Union Market District of Washington, DC,” said Christopher Anderson, general manager, Union Market Hotel. “Paying homage to the rich history of the local community, travelers will discover a stylish urban escape surrounded by an evolving artistic neighborhood in the heart of the capital.”
Union Market Hotel boasts various types of accommodations, all with industrial loft-inspired furnishings. Bolgiano Board Room can be booked for private events and meetings. Truly unique to the property is Treehouse Rooftop Lounge, five stories above the hotel. The indoor/outdoor Tulum-inspired jungle sanctuary features greenery, a sound system, city views and DJs playing, alongside sustainable cocktails and a small plates menu.

Later in 2024, Union Market Hotel will welcome additional new culinary concepts operated by food and beverage partner VERSUS Equity.
Bolgiano Seed Company opened its D.C. doors in 1931 in conjunction with the opening of Union Terminal Market, now Union Market. The family company sold seeds, including the lawn seeds for the White House and National Mall. Its founder, Joseph A. Bolgiano, also cofounded the American Seed Trade Association, one of the oldest trade organizations still in existence today.
