I’ve met a number of people in my life that find a measurable amount of catharsis in cleaning; I’m not one of those people. In fact, I’m just the opposite — I’m not a fan at all. I do, however, find catharsis in cooking. I love it. But laundry? I would rather clean.
But, however horrible doing laundry is, it’s a necessary evil on the road sometime,s especially when traveling all sorts of light.
It’s not that bad, especially if you do it frequently enough and first thing in the morning or last thing at night. At least leave it to soak in your sink assuming you have a private room. Then just ring it out and hang it up on a line.
I’m talking about a travel clothesline you are traveling with and can fasten to nearly anything. They weigh next to nothing and take up about as much space as an extra set of shoelaces.
My go to these days is the Flexo-Line by Going In Style which best I can tell will last me until I forget it somewhere.
