Variety Cruises takes to the seas this summer with the return of its Limited Collection sailings, available only on select dates. From exploring the Greek Isles to enjoying a wine trip along the Aegean Sea, these in-demand cruises take guests to some of the more hidden parts of southern Europe and the east coast of Africa.
On July 1, the Callisto embarks on the seven-day Hidden Greece, Unexplored Greek Isles tour. In addition to visiting lesser-known sites like Ikaria, guests also have the opportunity to explore Patmos, an island with two World Heritage sites; Kalymnos, an island known for its sponge harvesting; and Serifos, one of the Cycladic isles.
The one-off Culinary Cruise in the Seychelles departs July 16 with chef Josh Thomsen leading the way aboard Pegasos. Leaving from Mahé, guests enjoy walking tours, swimming, snorkeling, mangrove exploration and plenty of fine food. Guests may even spot a giant tortoise during the trip.
Variety Cruises’ new and all-inclusive Aegean Wine Cruise departs Aug. 26 on the super yacht Harmony G. This highly anticipated tour features wine ambassador Tim Clarke as he guides guests through Greece and its many fine wines. From visiting the ancient sites of southern Greece to taking in the quiet harbors and turquoise seas, guests will also visit Nemea, the leading red wine appellation in southern Greece. Guests will also travel to the top-quality estate Gaia and learn about the history of wine, grapes and vineyards on Milos, Santorini, Samos and Timos.
