The program has an application process and requires a two-year commitment to teach in their English-medium classes, covering 2nd to 8th standard English, Mathematics, History and Science.
Central Himalayan Rural Action Group
CHIRAG is based in the mountainous Kumaon region of northern India, where they work with rural communities on projects involving forestry, conservation, agriculture and animal husbandry. They also work in education and healthcare for young people in 200 villages across the Nainital, Bageshwar and Almora districts, covering subjects like English and information technology.
